Speak

Nancy takes the microphone and introduces her family to the crowd of more than 200 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Wilno, Minn. Candace holds up her arm to show where the needle goes into her arm. Doug talks about isolation, and how sometimes it's hard to get up and face the day. Nancy looks at the positive. "We have each other, we have three wonderful children," she said. The Simons are paid $250 for their talk, and someone gives them a small rosary made of dyed beans, known as Job's Tears.
