Forepaugh's restaurant

Forepaugh's is the former residence of Joseph Forepaugh, a successful St. Paul drygoods wholesaler. He built the huge Victorian house in the Irving Park neighborhood in 1870 for his wife and their two small daughters. According to legend, the spirit of a maid, Molly, also believed to have been Forepaugh's mistress, is responsible for causing some commotion from time to time. Employees of the elegant restaurant say they hear pounding on walls and footsteps when no one else is in the building.
