A native of Doland, S.D., Koslowski played football at Minnesota-Morris. He also mastered the sport of Greco-Roman wrestling, the style that allows no moves below the waist. He won a bronze medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and then a silver in Barcelona in '92, becoming the most decorated U.S. Olympic Greco-Roman wrestler ever.
