The Coleman and Franken campaigns are working with data supplied by county election officials to identify improperly rejected absentee ballots that should be counted in the U.S. Senate race. Ballots they agree to count will be sent to St. Paul in their sealed envelopes. Secretary of state staff will open the ballots and count them by Jan. 4. The state Canvassing Board will review the results on Jan. 5 and 6.
