| Most important issue: | Vacant and rental properties are a serious issue for residents. The nations housing crisis has caused families to lose financial and housing stability as everyones home value plummets. I will amend the citys rental code to include single family homes. We can establish a controlled system. We will build a transition for people needing to rent their property and match them with residents displaced looking to rent while rebuilding credit. I hope to decrease vacant homes with code violations to a minimum by keeping families already in Andover in a stable family life within the same school district and community. | |
