| Background: | Current Becker City Council member (4 years). I attended St. Cloud State University. I have been married to Angela for 15 years and have two wonderful daughters, Megan (10) and Marissa (8). I am a Correctional officer for the Minnesota Department of Corrections.(16 years). | |

| Most important issue: | One of the most important issues facing Becker is the recruitment and retention of businesses. My goal is to work with our Community Development staff and outside agencies to recruit new businesses that will provide for new tax dollars and much needed employment opportunities for our residents. With high fuel prices this issue becomes even more important, many of our residents currently need to seek employment in the metro area to find decent wages. With tax shifting in the State Legislature I believe it is very important that Becker becomes self sufficient rather than relying on subsidies from the state. |
