| Most important issue: | Anoka is faced with three main challenges; transportation, responsible growth around at our Rail Station, and economic security in our businesses. Transportation issues; Highway 10 must allow traffic smoothly through our city, yet continue to provide access to businesses. The Northstar will make Anoka a destination. People will live, work and shop here because of the easy access they will have to metro-wide and worldwide transportation. Beautification and maintenance of streets and housing are very important in setting an image that will welcome visitors and shoppers to our town. If we expect success we have to continue to invest in these assets. |
