Visiting princesses from nearby Milltown, Wis., walked past the ruins of the Siren Hotel as they arrived to participate in Siren's annual July 4th parade in 2001. The celebration in Siren went on in spite of the devastation caused by a tornado that hit the town two weeks earlier.
