A year ago, Dad, a pilot for Northwest Airlines, had just landed a flight in Memphis when he heard about the attacks while in the operations room at the airport. For a frantic hour, he couldn't reach Elizabeth and their two other children, Joseph, now 7, and Catherine, now 5, by phone to tell her he was OK. | |
