Today's Weather Question

Although no single weather event, storm or tragedy can be definitively linked to climate change, Australia, the driest inhabited continent, has warmed by nearly 2 degrees F since 1950. More frequent and intense droughts provide a ripe environment for brushfires, like the one that killed more than 200 people last week. (source: Time magazine).

We will start with near record warmth again Tuesday morning. Temps will be fairly steady with light rain showers a possibility throughout the day. Don't expect any heavy rain Tuesday.

The wind will pick up on Wednesday, and the rain will transform to snow showers as the temperatures drop. There could be some light accumulation across northern Minnesota, but not across the south.

Thanksgiving starts off breezy with a few lingering flurries, but the clouds should clear out as the day progresses. We should be dry until Sunday.
