Sound Unseen: A festival of sights -- and sounds
From inauspicious beginnings in 2000, the Sound Unseen music/movie festival has blossomed into one of the Twin Cities' premiere film festivals, a time for music fans to migrate from the clubs to the theater, and of course, the impetus for many an after-party.

Houston Ballet's mixed bill filled with artful edge
Two questions leapt to mind after seeing Houston Ballet, which sent a palpable electric jolt through Northrop Auditorium at a one-night stand on Saturday evening. The first is, when will the company return? Hopefully in less time than the seven years since its last Twin Cities gig, a 1998 production of "Swan Lake."
